There will be more time for the report and the annual CIT
The Ministry of Finance will extend certain deadlines for the fulfilment of reporting obligations. There will be more time to prepare financial statements and CIT returns.
With regard to, inter alia, the preparation, approval and submission of financial statements, the extension of deadlines in 2022 is to apply to:
– private sector entities (excluding entities supervised by KNF – operating on the financial market) and non-governmental organisations – by 3 months;
– public finance sector entities – by 1 month;
– personal income taxpayers keeping accounting books (as regards submitting their financial statements to the Head of KAS) – by 3 months.
– As regards filing the CIT return for 2021, taxpayers will have 3 more months to fulfil this obligation. The statutory deadline indicates that CIT-8 must be filed by the end of March. Thus, it will be extended to the end of June. This will apply to all taxpayers and will include not only the submission of returns but also the payment of tax, if any is found in the settlement – points out Łukasz Łebski, tax adviser, manager at Thedy & Partners.
The draft regulation is in the process of being agreed.
