The President signed a bill to automate processes in KAS
Andrzej Duda, signed on 10 June an act of 8 June 2022 amending certain acts in order to automate the handling of certain matters by the National Fiscal Administration (KAS).
The act will allow for the automation of many processes, including the extension of the e-tax office to, among other things, two-way communication between taxpayers and officials in electronic form. Thanks to the solutions provided in the act, taxpayers will be able to handle their affairs in the treasury in a comprehensive on-line manner. They will also not pay stamp duty for issuing certificates if they submit their applications via e-US.
The e-tax office will be an information and transaction service for five groups of KAS clients: taxpayers, payers, agents, bailiffs and notaries public.
Thanks to e-US, taxpayers will have access to information related to taxes. It will make it possible to comprehensively deal with tax matters online, mainly with regard to VAT, PIT and CIT.
The new regulations will come into force 14 days after their announcement in the Journal of Laws, with the exception of certain articles, which will come into force on other dates.
