The MF launched the Investor Tax Service Centre
The Ministry of Finance has created a Tax Investor Service Centre (COPI), which will deal with servicing key investors. The investors are those who plan to invest at least 100 million PLN. The Centre is to be a support for such people.
The investment limit will be lower from 2025 and will be at least 50 million PLN.
– Let us remind that the establishment of COPI is one of the elements of the tax part of the Polish Deal. The centre is to focus on providing support at the beginning of the investment as well as at the subsequent stages of its implementation. The Centre will also handle the investment agreement (Interpretation 590), cooperation with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and other institutions dealing with investors and handling investors’ enquiries and requests,” points out Piotr Kalemba, tax advisor, senior manager cooperating with Thedy & Partners.
For the activities of COPI an e-mail address was created at which investors can write: centrum.obslugi.inwestora@mf.
In turn, investment agreements will start on 1 January 2022 with the entry into force of the Polish Deal regulations.
