Support for the Mazowieckie voivodeship will change
Mazovian voivodship may count on the easing of conditions for granting support within the Polish Investment Zone. Changes in this respect are envisaged by the published draft amendment to the regulation.
It is exactly about changes in the regulation on public aid granted to some entrepreneurs for the realisation of new investments. Today, the provisions of this act stipulate that a decision on support is not granted for an activity carried out in the Mazowieckie Voivodship by a large entrepreneur which belongs to the same class of activity as an existing activity carried out by the entrepreneur in the Mazowieckie Voivodship.
– According to the new proposal, a decision on support would not be granted for an activity carried out in the territory of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship by a large entrepreneur if a new investment involves setting up a completely new plant. This is supposed to be an incentive for large companies to further develop by undertaking activities which go beyond the scope of their current business – points out Łukasz Łebski, Manager at Thedy & Partners.
The draft of the amending regulation is at the opinion stage. Most of the provisions of the amended regulation are to come into force after 14 days from their announcement in the Journal of Laws.
