Powers of attorney now operational in the e-Fiscal Office
According to the Ministry of Finance, the UPL-1, a power of attorney to sign electronic tax returns, can now be filed at the e-Fiscal Office.
In the e-Fiscal Office, it is possible to submit a power of attorney to sign declarations submitted by means of electronic communication (UPL-1 form) and a notice of change or revocation of such power of attorney (OPL-1 form). The notification is submitted on one’s own behalf or on behalf of another person or entity – if the user is a professional proxy (advocate, legal adviser, tax adviser).
General attorneys have access in e-US to a list of their principals. They can also submit letters on their behalf without having to fill in the identification and address details of the principal themselves.
