Polish Deal will be amended
The provisions of the Polish Deal will be amended. The middle class relief will be extended and taxpayers will get a chance to settle under the old rules, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced at a conference.
The middle class relief is to cover, among others, all contractors, pensioners and single parents. Additionally, it is to be possible to settle accounts with the tax office according to the rules in force in 2021. If a taxpayer compares a settlement based on the rules from the previous year and the rules from 2022, he will be able to stay with the old rules. The Prime Minister also assured that in the situation when public benefit organisations receive lower payments from 1% PIT, the government will return the difference.
We are therefore waiting for the draft amendment to the regulations in order to be able to assess specific solutions.
