Local documentation only electronically
Already from 2022, the way of preparing local transfer pricing documentation will change. It will have to be in electronic form.
Such changes have been introduced to the draft amendment to tax regulations under the Polish Deal programme, which is already in the Parliament.
– The introduction of the obligation to prepare local transfer pricing documentation only in an electronic form is a significant novelty. Today, the regulations do not specify what form the documentation should take. As a result, there are no obstacles for it to have only a traditional form – paper. From next year this will change and only an electronic version will be possible. Of course, this change will also entail another change, namely that the tax authorities will be able to demand electronic documentation. Certainly, the transition to such a form of documentation will speed up the verification of documents by officials,” assesses Cyprian Werykowski, tax adviser, director at Thedy & Partners.
