Green loan as an opportunity to subsidise green investment in a company
2024 will offer entrepreneurs the opportunity to subsidise investments in energy efficiency and green technologies.
Two calls under the Ecological Loan will allow for obtaining subsidised repayment of capital instalments of an investment loan. The budgets of both calls amount to as much as over PLN 1.2 billion.
The FENG programme will enable support for the green transformation of enterprises. In 2024, two calls are planned under the Green Credit measure. It allows for the co-financing of investments allowing for the reduction of energy consumption in an enterprise, e.g. the replacement of machinery with more energy-efficient equipment, the installation of PV systems or the thermo-modernisation of a plant.
The first call will be announced already on 28 March 2024 and will last until 25 July 2024, and the second call will be announced on 26 September 2024 and will last until 30 December 2024. The budgets of the calls will amount to PLN 660 million each. Only SMEs and small mid-caps (an enterprise that is not an SME and has up to 499 employees and an annual turnover of up to EUR 100 million and an annual balance sheet total of up to EUR 86 million) and mid-caps (meaning an enterprise with up to 3,000 employees that is not an SME or small mid-cap) will be able to apply for support from the green credit.
