e-Tax Office extends services
As the Ministry of Finance informs, the e-Tax Office will enable the partners to access the partnership's identification data. Thanks to this, a visit to the office will no longer be necessary.
– The new service at the e-Tax Office will be available to partners of partnerships, general partnerships, civil partnerships, limited partnerships and limited joint-stock partnerships. The information made available will include, among others, the address of the registered office, place of conducting business activity and storing accounting documentation, contact details and bank accounts. This is supposed to allow for quick data verification and its possible correction without the need to visit the office – emphasises Michal Nielepkowicz, tax advisor, partner in Thedy & Partners.
e-Tax Office (“e-US”) is a generally accessible communication channel between the tax office and the customer, available at podatki.gov.pl. The service is being built in stages until September 2022. Further services are being systematically made available within its framework. According to information from the Ministry of Finance, at the end of 2021, e-US will make it possible to download certificates confirming, among other things, lack of tax arrears. In the fourth quarter of 2021, it is also planned to implement a service for notaries. Notarial acts will be able to be sent electronically to tax offices with the help of e-US. In turn, in 2022, it is planned to introduce in e-US interactive tax forms, which are currently in the e-Deklaracje system. In the same year, functionality for bailiffs will also be made available.
