Car owners face a drastic increase in real estate tax
From 2023 we will be paying more for car maintenance. The property tax increase will raise the cost of garage maintenance, says Michal Nielepkowicz, tax advisor, partner at Thedy & Partners in the podcast "Business. Between the lines' on RadioZET.pl
– The increase in the property tax burden will be influenced by both external factors, such as inflation, increases in the prices of raw materials, services and fuel rises, and internal factors, such as national policies and tax burdens. From January 2023, property tax rates will increase dramatically. They will cause an increase in fees for garages, but that is not all, points out Michal Nielepkowicz.
This tax is heavily unfair. A person who owns a parking space in an underground garage, where the developer has separated the land and mortgage register, will pay ten times more tax than the owner of a parking space which the developer has registered in the land and mortgage register together with the flat. And yet she had no influence on this.
– In 2023, the cost of property tax, including garages in particular, will be significantly higher than it is today, signals Michał Nielepkowicz.
– What kind of increase are we talking about?
– What influences the amount of property tax and what is its structure?
– Why is the Ombudsman intervening in this matter?
– Who will pay the most for a garage or parking space?
– Will the costs of such fees also change for property investors?
All this is discussed in an extremely interesting RadioZET.pl podcast. We invite you to.
