A draft ordinance extending the deadline for CIT settlements for the previous year has been submitted by the Ministry of Finance for external arrangements and public consultations.
According to the draft, the deadline for CIT settlements for 2022 is to be postponed to 30 June 2023 and this will be the final date for, among other things:
– filing a return on the amount of income earned or loss incurred in the tax year that ended between 1 December 2022 and 28 February 2023 (CIT-8, CIT-8AB);
– payment of the tax due shown in the return or the difference between the tax due on the income and the sum of the advance payments due for the period from the beginning of the year.
The regulation is intended to cover all corporate income tax payers.
