There are two new MF clarifications on PIT
The Ministry of Finance issued two Explanatory Notes at the end of the year. Both relate to personal income tax.
The first, dated 28 December 2022, covers issues relating to PIT relief for individuals under 26. The document is 20 pages long. Amongst other things, the document explains: the nature of the relief, how to understand the age of the taxpayer, how to analyse the type of income and its limits, the relief in practice, or issues related to the settlement and tax return.
The second document was issued on 30 December 2022 i. It deals with statements made by taxpayers to payers that affect the amount of PIT advances. These Explanations are 30 pages long. The document will explain the obligations of taxpayers and payers, how to make statements and requests and what these documents will be.
