Tax advisors call for changes in Polish Deal 2.0
The National Chamber of Tax Advisers has submitted to the Ministry of Finance proposals of changes to the provisions of the Polish Deal. The proposals concern e.g. the rules of settling health contributions or the choice of taxation method.
Tax advisers consider the idea of the amendment as good. However, they request certain changes. The main postulate concerns the necessity of modification of settlements related to the health contribution. According to the representatives of the self-government, the limit of deducting the entrepreneur’s income by the health contribution should be eliminated. The limit proposed in the draft of the Polish Deal 2.0 in the amount of PLN 8700 does not correspond to market realities. The way it is determined on the basis of the annual basis for the assessment of social security contributions is inadequate given that the basis for the assessment of the health contribution is, according to the provisions of the Polish Deal, the entrepreneur’s income.
– The health contribution is an economic burden for entrepreneurs. It would be advisable to consider increasing this limit or allowing the whole of this contribution to be deducted as a tax deductible cost – reads the position of KIDP.
The Self-government of Tax Advisers also proposed the introduction of a provision that would allow entrepreneurs to change the choice of the form of taxation during the tax year. In addition, KIDP calls for the introduction of payroll abolition in 2022.
