Relief system under „the New Polish Order” in pre-consultations
The Ministry of Finance has launched pre-consultations of reliefs to be modified or introduced under “the New Polish Order” scheme. Comments can be submitted until 21 June 2021.
Anyone can submit their opinion as part of the pre-consultation. They can be sent to a dedicated email address at the MF.
– Pre-consultations concern the planned system of reliefs supporting innovations and production process of enterprises. It will consist of: a research and development relief, supporting conceptual work on a new product, service or process; a prototype relief, supporting the transfer of an idea into the language of practice and production; a relief for the employment of innovative employees, facilitating competition for specialists with key skills and competencies; the relief for robotisation, which is to facilitate opening a production line dedicated to a product; the IP Box relief, operating simultaneously with R&D, which is to reduce the burden at the stage of obtaining income from its sale – enumerates Łukasz Kupryjańczyk, tax adviser, partner at Thedy & Partners.
A relief on Venture Capital investments has also been submitted for consultation. The reliefs for those investing through Venture Capital funds, which invest capital in innovative enterprises, are a very important impulse for the development of this market in Poland.
