MF is working on extending the deadline for CIT for 2022
The Ministry of Finance has announced that it is working on a regulation that would extend the deadline for the annual CIT settlement by three months.
This means that entrepreneurs would have until 30 June to file and pay CIT for 2022. The extension of the deadline for filing the CIT tax return for 2022 is to apply to all taxpayers. The deadline will be extended for:
– filing a return on the amount of income earned (loss incurred) in the tax year;
– paying the due tax shown in the return, or the difference between the due tax on the income shown in the return and the sum of due advance payments for the period from the beginning of the year, as referred to in Article 27(1) of the Corporate Income Tax Act.
