International consultations on transfer pricing changes begin
Polish transfer pricing regulations will be reformed. Experts from the OECD, European Commission as well as academics and practitioners from Great Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and the USA will help in this process.
– According to the Ministry of Finance, the effect of this work will be the preparation of joint recommendations for changes in Polish tax regulations. The main goal of such modifications is to increase the effectiveness in electronic TPR reporting. The whole project is held under the motto: “Strenghtening the transfer pricing legal system against tax evasive behaviour” and is financed from EU funds (the so-called Technical Support Instrument, TSI).
An important element of the project – which is also emphasised by the MF – is the exchange with partner countries of good practices in the field of documentation obligations, electronic reporting and analyses. Under this initiative, Poland has established cooperation with five countries that are regarded as leaders in terms of competitiveness of transfer pricing regulations. Poland’s partners in the project will be the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands and the United States. Experts from these countries will share their experiences and technological solutions – points out Cyprian Werykowski, tax adviser, director at Thedy & Partners.
