Having invoicing systems in place does not necessarily make the transition to KSeF easier
Just because a company has an invoicing system today does not mean that the transition to the mandatory KSeF next July will be easier. The key will be to get your current systems in order, ideally by standardising (where possible) and then integrating them with KSeF.
– If the company has an old financial and accounting system for invoicing or more than one, it may be necessary to change the system or sort out the current several to come to one. The next step will be to establish with the system supplier what additional module or functionality will help to integrate with KSeF. The most difficult task will certainly be for companies that do not use any systems today – although this is hard to believe these days. They will have to decide which system to choose and switch to a digitised form of invoicing, so that they can finally use KSeF,’ explains Łukasz Woźniak, manager at Thedy & Partners.
