Funding for modular projects in the Mazovia region
A new call for projects in the Mazovian Voivodeship will be launched on 26 January this year. The call will last until 6 March this year. Therefore, there is little time left to prepare an application. The Mazovian Unit of EU Programmes Implementation will accept applications, and the competition is open to companies from the SME sector as well as large entities.
As Paweł Marszaluk, senior consultant at the relief and subsidies department of Thedy & Partners explains, EU funding will be available for the so-called modular projects. They cover the entire process of creating and implementing innovations. The subsidy will cover, among others, R&D work on designing and verifying innovative products or production processes and the so-called pre-implementation work covering, for example, patenting innovations. It will also be possible to obtain subsidies for the implementation of innovations. This means, for example, co-financing of the purchase of machinery or equipment used to manufacture innovative products. Co-financing will also be provided to increase the development and research potential of enterprises. Modular projects will also include investments in research infrastructure, acquisition of competences by employees or pro-development consultancy.
Modular projects must include R&D work. The minimum value of project co-financing must be PLN 1.5 million and the maximum PLN 10 million. The pool of funds earmarked for the call is just over PLN 66 million. The level of co-financing depends on the size of the enterprise and the location of the project site.
