Mandatory KSeF will be postponed
The Minister of Finance announced at today's briefing that critical flaws have been identified that prevent the introduction of KSeF in 2024.The Minister conveyed that a situation where Polish companies cannot issue invoices cannot be allowed.
Such a decision is a gigantic surprise, all the more so as the MF has repeatedly denied that the date of the mandatory KSeF entry into force would be at risk, assesses Łukasz Woźniak and Grzegorz Arczewski of Thedy & Partners.
In response to journalists’ questions, the Minister of Finance stressed that the new date would only be given on the basis of the results of the audit carried out. However, the government stresses that it is not abandoning the system.
As soon as new information – including a new effective date for the mandatory KSeF – is provided by the ministry, we will report on it.
