e-Delivery postponed
The Ministry of Digitalisation has decided to postpone the deadline for the mandatory use of electronic delivery to 30 December 2023. The deadline was originally set for 10 December.
– It is worth mentioning that, as announced, the Ministry of Digitalisation plans to submit a bill that will postpone the maximum implementation date to 1 January 2025. Today, it is 1 January 2024. This is good news for entrepreneurs and administration, who will gain more time to prepare for the new regulations. It was the organisations of public entities and professions of public trust that made numerous calls for the postponement of the implementation date of the obligation to use electronic delivery, assesses Michał Nawrot, consultant at Thedy & Partners.
This is not the end of the good news. The Ministry of Digitalisation has also announced that the designated operator will implement new functionalities that will ensure a more efficient handling of correspondence, especially in public entities, including: functionality allowing mass sending of messages to multiple addressees, mass archiving of messages in the delivery box or increasing the size of attachments that can be sent via the public registered electronic delivery service.
