Did you know that the KSeF will force changes both internally, but also in cooperation with contractors

The obligatory KSeF, which is due to start for most companies in 10 months, will force taxpayers to carry out a kind of audit of their internal procedures, but also of the rules of cooperation with counterparties.

– The need to move to KSeF is not only a change in the way transactions are documented/reported. It means modifications in many areas of the operation of enterprises, but also of the entire economic environment. This is because the system of documentation circulation, relations between contractors or cooperation with accounting offices will change. The challenge for companies, alongside all the technical/IT effort, will be to adapt to these changes. Of course, the extent of the work to be done and thus the need for modifications in the organisation will depend, among other things, on the size of the company, which sales channels it uses, what kind of invoices it issues – or what the process of issuing invoices itself looks like, the receipt and circulation of purchase invoices and their acceptance process, if only from the point of view of payment for them. The key here will be to analyse the issuing, receipt and acceptance of these invoices, which will also have an impact on the relationship with contractors and, in many cases, the establishment of these relationships. After conducting an audit in this area, it is worth introducing as much simplification or automation of this process as possible, explains Grzegorz Arczewski, senior manager at Thedy & Partners.

At the same time, he adds that carrying out an audit in a company may lead the company to the conclusion that, in order for KSeF to be applied correctly in practice, changes in contacts with counterparties will be necessary.

– Would you like to know how to conduct such an audit?
– Not sure whether you should change something within your organisation or in your relations with your counterparties?
Feel free to contact us: Grzegorz Arczewski and Łukasz Woźniak – they will answer your questions on KSeF.
