GIA Thedy & Partners advised on Ryanair’s investment project in Sosnowiec
The planned investment by Ryanair - Europe’s Favourite Airline in Sosnowiec is a project of significant importance for the development of the aviation sector in Poland and for the regional labour market.
The project involves the establishment of a modern aircraft engine MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) service centre. This investment has the potential to play an important role both in strengthening technical infrastructure for the aviation industry and in supporting the economic development of the region.
We are pleased to have supported the Investor in securing a public aid package with a total value of up to EUR 33 million, comprising a government grant and a tax exemption under the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSSE) framework.
The project was advised on by the GIA Thedy & Partners team: Anna Derewońko, Adam Allen, Paweł Marszaluk and Marta Piętka.
We would like to congratulate all parties involved in this project and are proud to have contributed our advisory support to such an important investment.
We look forward to the next stages of this journey together.
